Joe Pass (born Joseph Anthony Jacobi Passalacqua, January 13, 1929 – May 23, 1994) was an American virtuoso jazz guitarist of Sicilian descent. He is generally considered to be one of the greatest jazz guitarists of the 20th century.

Ella Jane Fitzgerald (April 25, 1917 – June 15, 1996) was an American jazz vocalist with a vocal range spanning three octaves, often referred to as the "First Lady of Song," the "Queen of Jazz" and "Lady Ella".

Andreas Vollenweider (born October 4, 1953) is a Swiss musician. His music has been categorized as World Music, Jazz fusion, New Age, and even Classical. His primary instrument is a modified, electroacoustic harp of his own design.

Giora Feidman (born March 26, 1936) is an Argentine-born Israeli clarinetist who specializes in klezmer music.

The Hadouk Trio was led by Paris-born multi-instrumentalist Didier Malherbe, previously known for co-founding with Soft Machine alum Daevid Allen the famed psych-prog outfitGong. Malherbe remained with Gong for close to a decade,

Jan Garbarek (born 4 March 1947) is a Norwegian tenor and soprano saxophonist, active in the jazz, classical, and world music genres. Garbarek was born in Mysen, Norway, the only child of a former Polish prisoner of war Czesław Garbarek and a Norwegian farmer's daughter.

Anoushka Shankar (born 9 June 1981) is an Indian sitar player and composer. She is the daughter of Ravi Shankar and half-sister of singer, songwriter, musician and actress Norah Jones.
